The warm front continues to track to the north. Temperatures and dewpoints will continue to rise. Highs today will be in the upper 70s to mid80s, but dewpoints will be climbing into the 50s and even 60s by tonight. That will make our cool Spring jump into Summer for a day or so. This will also provide an atmosphere that will be ready for some thunderstorms. There may be a few pop up today, but we will be relatively stable until the cold front tracks through tomorrow. Then we will have a chance of showers and storms, especially Thursday afternoon through the evening. Large hail is the greatest threat, but damaging winds and an isolated tornado will also be possible. Heavy rainfall may occur, too, with sites that get under a thunderstorm or two getting over half an inch and some approaching an inch. It stays muggy for Thursday with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s, but we will cool back to the mid 60s on Friday behind the system. A few stray showers may linger into Friday, but the bulk of the day looks dry. Most of Saturday will be dry, too, although a few thunderstorms may track through late as the next system approaches. This will bring a chance of storms to the region Sunday through Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s to around 70 Sunday and Monday, cooling into the mid 60s for Tuesday.
