The way hair grows out of the head naturally is nothing to be ashamed of. There has been sooo much propaganda and hatred promoted against natural hair among black culture that women dont even wanna be buried with their natural hair showing. Im sorry but I wanna ask my sisters To please stand up and embrace your own beautiful self Im not judging as far as trying different styles just as creative preference from time to time But Im talking about the state of mind where a black women would never want to be seen ever with her natural hair I think that is just too much of a lack of self appreciation No other culture has this level of disregard for their own selves We know why We know the indoctrination of the racist culture But how long will we perpetuate this to our children How long will we know this But yet push it to the back of the mind Because deep inside we are not satisfied with the way we are naturally blessed I think that is a level of psychosis that permeates and pervades our community and I think it is a huge self esteem issue That is largely under addressed Chris rocks good hair brought up some great points But what are your thoughts? My sisters do u feel offended by this kind of conversation? I certainly dont mean to offend If u have an opinion ud like to share Id like to hear your thoughts on the matter...
