The way the guitar making classes works: you choose the shape, type, timber for your guitar. I will source the necessary timber, fret wire, truss rod. If you like me to source all or part of the hardware, I will but at an extra cost. Once all is ready, the class starts. I will teach you how to make a detailed technical drawing which you will keep, all necessary templates, rout, cut and hand shape your guitar. All necessary tips and advice will be available to you so that you can make more in the future if you like. The class lasts 6 days over 2 weeks from 9-6 with 1 hour lunch break whenever it suits you. The cost is of £950 for a bolt neck solid body ready to spray paint. Hardware & painting is not included. For steel strings acoustic guitars £1200. For set neck solid body £1100. For jazz arch top guitars £2500. The 6 days timescale suits the bolt on solid body construction, for all others the time will vary.
