The way to raise the pay of workers is to make it where business is desperate for workers. If the workers wont hire out for $9.00/hr then business will have to raise the pay to attract workers. It wont work to artificially set a rate of $11.00/hr, if that would work then why not set the minimum rate at $20.00/hr, Do you see what I mean, the president doesnt understand basic economics. If you want to raise the bottom of the hourly rate, you must have a vibrant economy where business is searching for workers to expand business. I dont know of any business that wants to sit still and not have more business which equals more money. But government has to get out of the way and let business do what it is designed to do, grow and make more money for its investors which means more jobs at whatever the market will allow. Its really simple, isnt it ??
