The weather forcast for this weekend is looking good for the Double Glazing Guys Annual Wellington Fishing Competition - 14, 15, 16, June 2013. We have generated around $20,000 of prizes and giveaways. There are sections for shore, boat, kids, juniors, ladies, most species, best team, hardluck prize, best photo. There are 24 eligable species of fish. You can enter and weighin at both of our shops - Seaview and Rongotai and you can fish anywhere from Otaki down to Wellington and up to Castlepoint over the 3 days. We have spaces available on outr charter boat for fishing on the Friday and Sunday (day trips) and Friday and Saturday nights (5.30pm - 9.30pm). All entrants get a starter pack worth about $50 The prizegiving is at the Southern Cross Restaurant and Bar on Sunday night (6pm).l There is a live band, free sausage sizzle, give-aways and excellent meals and drinks.
