Malcolm X My response When I see the comments and the posts on this page, I believe that we have forgetten that the two party system was never designed to embrace black voters (or any groups outside of the established elite). I see too much bickering back and forth between the liberals who are on this page and the conservatives, and very little is being spoken about in terms of actual empowerment. Both parties have two objectives...to get us to vote hard and often. Both parties have tried to silence black voices. Both parties create political enemies that we must focus on in order to detract from what we need to focus on. Tit for tat does not help our educational system......which is my absolute passion. Tit for tat dies not further us economically. In my mind Xs statement can be applied to every voter as the elites continue to make policy while we are distracted by our enemies.
