The whole world is laughing at our democracy now. We are losing the moral ground already to ask for democracy elsewhere. How can 30+ odd nut jobs take an entire nation hostage, tie up the hands of the speaker and the President? In other words the opinion of some 30 odd congressional district can override the opinion of the entire nation. Is this the kind of democracy we want to showcase to the world?
