The wife got home from work just a bit ago and I asked her how her day went. So we shared. When it got to my turn I told her I had felt disheartened most of the day. She asked why. I said because people in general are or can be indifferent to human life. She asked me if this had anything to do with my campaign. I told her yes, in part. She said well maybe people dont know that the money will really go to where it is suppose to go. My response to that was, if people that I associate myself with have to stop and question my integrity then they do not and have not and never will know me and should exit stage left. I never ask for anything for myself that I have not worked for and I would never intentionally shame my brotherhood. I am loyal beyond belief. I am there to pick my brothers up when they stumble or fall and to encourage and bring the best out of them and do my part, the best that I can, to support the dept. I know they would do the same for me. Her response, that is true.
