The will of God must not be defined through what the body of Christ has done in the past, but rather through what God has made available to us in Christ Jesus. For example, many historians have taught that revivals typically last two to six years. While this is historically accurate according to what the body of Christ has done, these time frames were never meant to serve as end posts because there is so much more available to us in Christ Jesus. Are you limiting what God can do because of what history says or are you filled with faith and hope because of whats been made available to us in the cross and power of the resurrection? My eyes are fixed on the resources of heaven made available in Christ, not on history!
