The will to do great feats without seeking reward or recognition is a personal journey, for the dividends may just as well be handsomely shared and enjoyed for lifetimes, if I am so privileged; but perhaps not - that is not important. My gratification is knowing I achieved my goals; I fulfilled my ambitions. I completed the task, my duty. I did it to the best of my ability because I know that He sees my labor. And when I make mistakes, when I fall short (no doubt I will) at least I failed trying.
