The working womans dilemma She works twice as hard as any man or any housewife..., faces the jealousy of non-working females among her in-laws who think she is out having a good time,... doesnt have time or energy to take part in domestic politics which incite her husband against her for being less than perfect in housework or not participating in the affairs of the extended family as much as the non-working females..totally ignoring her financial contributions......All the other couples jealous of their double earnings try to extract as much out of them as they can and deprive them of their rightful share in assets...The insecure husband never helps in household chores or even in kids homework, and makes her spend all her income in running the home , so he can spare his own to spend on his extended family...she ends up having lesser money to spare for herself than the housewife,... frustrated, irritable and tired from working round the clock without appreciation,... having little time and energy to look good, sound good and please those around her ... In the end, she has lost her health, her looks, her money, and her relationships.. meanwhile those who create the rift enjoy milking the husbands earnings , convincing him somehow that he is absolved of his responsibility towards his wife and children since his wife has taken it upon herself...and he can also chase other women putting the blame on the busy, bad-tempered wife, not giving time to husband.. .So why do we want our daughters to be professionals? It doesnt empower them, but makes them more vulnerable to exploitation...
