The works over the Sallins - Naas road bridge have been dragging - TopicsExpress

The works over the Sallins - Naas road bridge have been dragging on a bit and Ive spoken to the relevant engineers to get the status. The position is that the works were due to finish around the end of September but are now due to finish about a month later. Ive been given a completion date now of 26th October. Apparently the delay is due to a multitude of cabling under the kerbing when they dug. The one-way was always the big concern and it was great to get that element out of the way so quickly but it will be good to see the rest of the job completed at this stage also. By the way the parapet installed on bridge at present is not final, the new one is much higher for safety.
