The world AIDS community mourned several passengers on the crashed Malaysian Airlines plane who were heading to Australia for a global conference on the epidemic. Researchers, medical scientists, doctors, people who have been at the forefront of dealing with AIDS across the world were on that flight. Among them Joep Lange, a world-renowned researcher and former president of the International AIDS Society. Our thoughts & prayers to families of those tragically lost on flight #MH17
