The world will never view what happened in Oso as a major dissaster, purely because of the death toll. Anyone around here can tell you it is, the death toll may remain low compared to other natural disasters, but this was absolute, it took no prisoners, there are fewer and fewer survivors. Many of us knew someone who passed away in the slide. and many of us did not. One thing i will say is that i am extremely proud to be apart of a community like ours, that has banded together to help those in a time of need, people who dont know each other giving what little they have to help. Stay strong Oso. Remember to hug your family, never let a chance go to tell someone you love them. This life is short, you never know when a goodbye might be your last.
