The written word is for our own growth and edification, we need to examine ourselves before we ever start examining others according to scripture - 2 Corinthians 13:5, 1 Corinthians 9:27, Lamentations 3:40, Ephesians 3:17, 1 Corinthians 11:28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. It is for our own personal walk, and before we ever start to grow, we need to realize that as we read, it is directed to us "FIRST" the reader. Swallow that pride, spit it out or do what you can to rid yourself from it, because it is seriously holding you slave.
