The year 2014 has been a challenge for Abandoned, to say the least. As the last day of the year comes to a close, I would like to thank the many long-time and new supporters of Abandoned. For over 15 years, Abandoneds goal has been to document abandoned and historical properties across the United States, and its something that we enjoy doing. One of my biggest supporters has been Abandoned America. The site, by Matthew Christopher, began with the documentation of the decline of the state hospital systems, branching later into churches, power plants, theaters, residences and so much more. More importantly, Matthew has been a good ear and has provided clarity when we needed it the most. Here is to 2015 and beyond, Matthew.
