The year was 1992. Guns N Roses released the Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II albums in September. At the time, Maung was 20, and Maggie was 12. In that fall, Maung visited Maungs high school buddies who were living in Orange County, just outside L.A. We then listened to these two albums all over the place. As soon as Maung heard November Rain, Dont Cry, and Knockin on Heavens Door, Maung was like, W o w, a w e s o m e! So, Maung tried to sing and shout like Axl in the Knockin on Heavens Door song: hey hey hey hey yeah. . . Maung returned home after painting Orange County, Hollywood, and Vegas red. And yet, Maung was missed whenever they heard Axls hey hey hey hey yeah. . . Maung missed them, too. It really was an unforgettable vacation. At age 12, Maggie probably didnt like hard rock songs much. But you should listen to November Rain now.
