The year – 2014 – has been a great and successful year for our family. It ends just as wonderfully as it began. Mithu’s film, Gohine Shobdo, has received 9 awards from BCJA just recently. Bangladesh Cine Journalist Association has honoured Mithu with the Best Film Director Award for Gohine Shobdo, along with the Best Script-Writer Award. My daughter, Shiropa, has received Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film. Surprisingly, even I have received an award – Best Art Director! Rezwana Chowdhury Banna has received the Best Female Singer Award. Best Producer Award goes to Faridur Reza Shagar. Best Supporting Actor Award has been presented to Masum Azis. Hasan Ahmed has been awarded with Best Cinematographer.
