#TheGiftGives #ThankYou #Learneveryday #WhenIknowBetterIdoBetter I was a bit of a basket case this am. By 9am when I had my meeting with my biz coach Angela Sutcliffe i was in a sorry state. I was angry at myself for allowing the pain to take over. I was angry that I had to park at the NAC yesterday and that I made the choice to walk to the Congress Centre, doing 12 plus staircases in the process... I was most angry at myself for letting myself be less than a warrior as per Tinas son Jonathan, who has the same genetic issue as one of my heroes, Johnny Kennedy. Angela Sutcliffe Consulting-Business Consultant Ottawa took me to task for taking on more than was mine. I have worked hard this past ten years to NOT want to fix everything, to not judge ( I mean in a oh God I wish i could help take away the pain kid of judging) Not to presume anything for the future. It was a wake up call. I had lost the plot in my haste to deny my own pain. ( Making it worse of course) Thank you Angela who also said, you can be human you know!! I re-watched Johnnys documentary in a puddle, and when I was done my meeting I knew that I could post not just the hard stuff but i could combine it with the incredible wonders that also happened yesterday and this morning. I won one of the Days of Christmas prize packs yesterday, and I thank Catherine Landry and LADIES WHO LUNCH :the GIFT for the bounty which i will be sharing with someone who deserves it. I met even more fabulous women, networked and laughed and got to hear my friend Deborah Kent tell her story. I also got to hear one of my longtime favoutrite designers share heres Linda Lundström whos designs made the 80s and 90s my shining decades! To Sue McGarvie, Leeann Lacroix, Judith Cane, Linda Babulic, Janine Charron, Jill Nugent and finally met in person Kee van Deurs and all the other fabulous women.. I say thank you for being in my life You make the great days better and the bad days tolerable.
