TheMagicTouch are proud and honoured having been recognised for their contribution and involvement with a new full length feature film release starring International actor John Malkovitch. The company’s Italian office in Milan supplied their unique temporary transfer paper to the film production company of Oscar winning director Gabriele Salvatores who used the paper to create tattoos for the key characters which prominently features in his new movie “Siberian Education”. Maurizio Nardi, Head of Make-Up supervised the transfer application featuring Siberian tattoo designs producing stunning results in terms of durability and authenticity. He commented after recently been nominated for the “2013 David di Donatello Award” (the equivalent of an Oscar in the make-up industry) “Having been in the movie business for 30 years, I draw on my experience and passion, supported with the excellent tattoo transfer media from TheMagicTouch to create particular designs where the results must be realistic to ensure perfect continuity whilst filming over long periods” During the 12 weeks of filming there were over 300 different designs produced on over 1000 sheets of the A4 paper with over 5 weeks of preparation. The film features John Malkovitch who plays a Russian Godfather in world of crime, corruption and tattooed Siberian bandits.
