Theatre Friends- In partnership with Mental Health of Illinois Valley, Stephen Dean is helping them embark upon a program aimed at education and awareness related to mental health issues in our community...all done through the lens of theatrical monologues and scripts. From Stephen: We are looking for actors/actresses (16+) of all types to begin this important work in our community. Auditions for this group of performers will take place on Weds July 31st at First United Methodist Church at 700 Main St. 5:30p. Please prepare a 1-2 minute dramatic monologue and be prepared to possibly do a small cold reading of a script. You can signup below for an audition space. (No flakers please :-) Performances will periodically take place throughout the next several months at various schools, community organizations, and businesses. There will likely be a small stipend for each performance you are involved with, but that is still being determined.
