Their suffering rips our heart into shreds. It makes us angry. It makes us cry. Their pain and hurt makes us want to seek vengeance. But their life achieved despite the pain ... their ability and willingness to forgive ... that in itself, teaches us patience, compassion and a lesson in the greater purpose of creation, that instructs us that we are better than that. That purpose can out wit cruelty. That hope will always overcome affliction. What we see daily through these precious horses, guides our heart and spirit. We cannot thank them enough. We love them and feel privileged and blessed
