Then I saw thrones, and sitting on them were those to whom authority to act as judges and to pass sentence was entrusted. Also I saw the souls of those who had been slain with axe [beheaded] for their witnessing to Jesus and [for preaching and testifying] for the Word of God, and who had refused to pay homage to the beast or his statue and had not accepted his mark or permitted it to be stamped on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived again and ruled with Christ (the Messiah) a thousand years. [Revelation 20:4, Amp.] Are you wondering how peace can be restored to this world completely? The Prince of peace had come the first time and anyone that receives Him into their heart receives peace, that calmness of soul that you enjoy even in the most troubled water. The Prince of peace is coming the second time, to take His body with Him. You have to receive Him + the sacrifice He made when He came the first time to be numbered among His members. As for this world, it will not know peace again; it ceased to be peaceful from the time Adam and Eve fell. You hear beheadings and you think its abstract and hoping that America and the UN will stop the ISIS, Goodluck will stop the Boko Haram; you might as well hope that Satan will repent and become an angel again. The Scripture above was written how many years ago? And were witnessing it today; yet somehow, you like to allow the devil through various channels to convince you that God does not exist? The devil is a liar! Give your lives to Jesus Christ - the Author and Finisher of your faith. Have you done that already? Work out your salvation with fear and trembling! Listen, ISIS may not behead you, boko haram may not bomb you to death, ritualists may not use you for their sacrifice but know this, malaria still kills, people have accidents, heck, people even die from their sleep. How may your end be? Will your soul be among those that John saw sitting on thrones ruling with Christ? These things are not attainable by the sprinkling of holy water or olive oil, they are not even attainable by sleeping on your bible. They are only attainable by embracing God in His Word, embracing His gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ and by following Him (the leading of the Holy Spirit), denying flesh and its works and making Gods standard, your standard in all things.
