Then, as though there was not already enough sectarian division, four hundred years later in the twentieth century came yet another denomination, the Assemblies of God. They also created a set of doctrines and traditions, some of which, after having been in that church for forty years, and having done much personal contextual Bible study and prayer, I’ve come to recognize as outright unbelief and rejection of Christ’s teachings and commands. Do those unbelief’s and rejections of some of Christ’s teachings and commands make a difference in the here and now? Absolutely! Do some of those unbelief’s and rejection of Christ’s teachings effect how one will be enabled to endure or not endure to the end as Christ taught? Absolutely! What about you, do you defend doctrines and traditions of men, or the contextual Word of the Lord?
