Theological question to ponder for those who consider themselves Christians: what is the basis for your beliefs? tradition? philosophy? isolated Scriptures? or solid New Testament doctrine? I dare you to put your beliefs to the test, discovering their foundation. And dont simply look to your experience to validate what you believe. This is dangerous. look to the Word of God, not pulled out of context. If you make a god of your experiences you will remain ignorant of your foundation. and your foundation could be crumbling underneath you without you even knowing it! allow the Spirit of God to strengthen your foundation for the time to come. God is not offended at your questions. He welcomes them and actually strengthens your faith in the process because you will step out of doing things out of routine and into the mode of responding to revelation that is not simply a result of following suit. Dont fear the truth. The truth will set you free, even when it is uncomfortable.
