There are ONLY two other words, apart from the words themselves, which mean HOUSE MUSIC …. and those two words are FRANKIE KNUCKLES I am DEEPLY SADDENED this morning to hear that the ONLY TRUE GODFATHER OF HOUSE has passed away at only 59 years old … Im not going to bother talking about how great he was, and discussing his influence on what ultimately became a part of International Music Culture …. THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE GIVEN … Instead, Id rather remember a most lovely guy who was passionate about communicating his passion for music to people …. Whenever I met and spoke with Frankie, he was humble and kind and giving. He always had a smile, ALWAYS enjoyed his work and even through personal difficulties, he was Positive and Dedicated … the consummate professional and he ALWAYS delivered … My thoughts are with his family and friends today and I simply say Rest in Peace FRANKIE WARREN KNUCKLES JNR …. Gone too soon but NEVER forgotten …. THANK YOU FOR YOU
