There are a couple of changes for the next two weeks of which I wanted to make you all aware. First, we have a unique opportunity to perform For His Envy at the Hardin Park Elementary School Fall Festival this Friday (September 27th) from 7:15 - 7:45. If you rehearsed with us last Friday evening or Sunday afternoon, then you should already be aware to bring your FHE performance clothing, hair, make-up, etc. to SHINE on Friday as we will be leaving straight from Northwestern Studios. SHINE will be finished at 6:45 and all students need to be picked up promptly so that the FHE cast can make it over to Hardin Park. Of course, SHINE students and their families are invited and more than welcome to come and support the FHE cast! Again, all classes/rehearsals will be held as normal except that SHINE will end at 6:45 and Ballet 3 will be held as a performance. (Ballet 3 students not already enrolled in Ballet 2 can "make-up" this class by attending Ballet 2 from 4:00 - 5:00) The second change will occur on October 4th. SHINE Touring Ensemble members will be heading to Atlanta, GA for Project Dance early Friday morning. Bethany Jobe and assistants will be taking over the Pre-Ballet and Ballet 1 classes. So, to reiterate...the Pre-Ballet and Ballet 1 classes will be held as normal. Ballet 2, SHINE, and Ballet 3 will be cancelled for October 4th, however Ballet 2 students may attend Ballet 1 on either Friday September 27th or Friday October 11th to make-up for this missed class (I will plan to work pieces that include both Ballet 1 and Ballet 2 students on these days!) and Ballet 3 students may attend Ballet 2 on either October 11th or October 18th. If you are already enrolled in both Ballet 2 and Ballet 3, please just subtract $6 from your normal monthly fees!
