There are a few problems in residency education. 1. Residents are paid 10,000 more than is necessary limiting the number of physicians in this country. 2. GME positions are NOT given preference to US Graduates who, unlike foreign medical graduates, have the opportunity of training ONLY in their own country. #Legistation #stop #FMG #preference until other nations are willing to train US Medical Graduates
