There are all kinds of photographers out there. Those who do it full time and charge for their services (as they Should!) those who are hacks and charge for their services (as they shouldnt) those who know what they are doing but need experience and work for little to no money (which is a great way to gain experience without high expectations of results) and there ore those who dont know what they are doing but still charge too much... No comments about that... And then theres me. I wont charge you to shoot a wedding (you couldnt afford me if I did shoot it) because I WONT SHOOT WEDDINGS! and if I were to shoot portraits for you, I have a set and non negotiable rate. If I shoot portraits and dont charge you, all I ever ask is the respect of giving photo credits or dont crop off my watermark. It makes me so happy looking at my Fb friends and seeing my photos being used as profile photos or header shots. Thats all Id need to be exctatic! It shows you like my work and it shows Im doing a decent job! If you crop off the watermark or dont give photo credit, 3 things could happen. 1: I will learn a lot about your character 2: Ill never edit another photo of yours and (or) 3: Ill put my watermark right across your face from then on and therell be no way to crop it off. Just saying... If you like a photogs work enough to use it as a profile shot, please give credit where credit is due.
