There are countless great Christmas songs, from the centuries-old classics, to new ones being written daily. They range from funny to serious with every genre imaginable, and I love so many of them!!! This one, though, came out when I was in high school...written by one of the Gaithers, of course, and recorded by all kinds of artists. If I really HAD to pick just ONE favorite Christmas song, it would be Mary, Did You Know? It is what Christmas is about, and I wish everyone would take a pause from all of the other fun and wonderful things about Christmas to reflect on the birth of Christ and give special thanks for the impact that glorious gift from God has had on your life. ...then keep that in the forefront of your heart and thoughts while you are celebrating all things awesome about Christmas!!
