There are days that we all need an Aaron and a Hur. They were the sort of people who were ready, willing and able to come to the aide of Moses when he needed them, by holding up his hands during battle. Many people may offer to help, but when you need them, they are nowhere around. These brothers, came and stayed until the task was complete. You may not be a Moses, but you may be an Aaron or a Hur. We all become tired...physically tired. And we all need to have strong and willing people by our sides to help us complete the task. Im learning how to allow some Aarons and Hurs to help me. I believe that at just the right time, God will send people to help you do what you need to do in order to accomplish what He has called you to do. They wont just talk about it, they will be about it. You may not be a Moses, but are you and Aaron or a Hur? Make yourself available; stay faithful and committed. You never know what God may accomplish through you. Happy Hump Day! Exodus 17:11-13(NKJV) And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
