There are days when you feel like you just are not going to make it. Today started that way for me! Then....someone wanted to meet for coffee (out there and not in my chair!). Thanks Courtney Johnson. You are one precious and talented and beautiful soul! Then I made a trip to shop for food to cook for some dear friends and my hands began to have the terrible shooting pains but I needed to lift those bags into my car. Someone shouted can I help you Maam? And lifted each bag into the car for me. Thank you David Bechtold and Sarah! Both of you have smiles and a brightness that can change anyones day! When I got home I needed to unload the car and get all the garbage to the curb but was completely exhausted and had to get my dialysis started for a 6.5-7.5 hour treatment but someone walked into my front door unloaded my car, took my garbage to the curb, AND brought up at least five very heavy boxes of my dialysis fluid from the basement and opened them all for me. Thank you TristanandJess Erdahl, you are so kind, helpful and its such a treat that we get to talk for a few minutes each week when you stop by to see if you can help with anything!!!! You are a faithful and truly compassionate man. I then realized I was very hungry for salad and maybe soup but didnt get groceries for me at the store, only stuff to make food for some friends who are moving. Just then I got a text saying someone was just leaving work and could they bring me some food. Thank you Michael Babler for bringing me salad and soup and especially for sitting and chatting with me and sharing the video! You bring some serious sunshine to my life every time you do those things! I love your spirit! I also got an incredible phone call from out west and got to catch up with a very precious family who have a new house, a new baby and maybe a new job! Thank you Michael J Butak and Rachel Butak! I love you so much!! I also got a call inviting me to meet someones new boyfriend on Sunday but I cant tell you who that was! Id say Father heard the cries this morning and filled my day with real, practical care and love, wouldnt you? Sometimes I forget the prayers I cried out in the night to be cared for and loved, are heard. Sometimes He gives very practical, tangible answers that YES, we are loved! Thanks Daddy!! I definetly needed that, you are beyond kind and beyond generous!!
