There are fathers waiting until other obligations are less demanding to become acquainted with their sons. There are mothers who sincerely intend to be more attentive to their daughters. There are husbands and wives who are going to be more understanding. But time does not draw people closer. When in the world are we going to begin to live as if we understood that this is life? This is our time, our day…and it is passing. What are we waiting for? Richard L. Evans Boy, has this one hit home with me today. The past week for me and my family has been a real struggle. My granddaughter has been in the hospital in Atlanta and praise God she is getting better day by day! But during this time we have cried, hugged, and all dealt with the pain that someone we love so dear and near is hurting. God is bringing us through this and God is drawing us closer and stronger as a family because of it. Through this, God is dealing with me and teaching me a much valuable lesson. Besides Him, NOTHING is more important than family. We are so guilty to put other things in front of our family and Im talking to me too here today. Our family is one of Gods precious gift to us and He is opening my eyes to that. So today Im asking you, how much time and/or attention have you given to your family? Your spouse, your children, your parents, your grandparents? They are an important link in your life. Start acting like it and give them a little bit of your time. Show you care and you will have no regrets looking back. I am starting a new life once again...this time with my family. Thank you God for your life lessons.
