There are lot of mists that beclouds our minds and hearts which prevents us from not seeing God clearly and serving him whole heartedly. Before this mists can be expel God allows us to pass through waters and fire, to discipline our minds and hearts but through His love. After passing through this trials God says; “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jer.29:13. Because of this, Moses became a shepherd for forty years, David stayed in the bush for years, Joseph was sold to become a slave and prisoner, Jonah was swallowed by a fish, Peter denied his master, Paul was humiliated on the way to Damascus, Israel was sent into slavery for seventy years in Babylon. etc.
