A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14 NKJV We are called to be the light of the world but when we act like the culture around us we lose our influence because we are no longer hot or cold, we have become lukewarm toward the things of God just like them and that is what made Jesus want to vomit about the church in Laodicea. “ But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.” Revelation 3:16-17 NLT “The eye is the lamp of the body.
