A wonderful quiet setting on the river only about 1 mile from Syzygy facility. The cabins have just been remodeled and the Owl’s Nest cabin is available for $195 per night. It sleeps 4 – charming 1 bedroom wrought iron queen bed, wood floors, pillow top mattress, spiral staircase to coziness. Spa-inspired spacious bath with a large soaking tub, walk-in separate shower, stone floors, granite vanities, tranquil water feature, vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace. The living room / kitchen area has gas fireplace, wrap-around porch with rocking chairs overlooking Bear Creek. The similarly decorated Huckleberry House sleeps 6. There is a hot tub overlooking the creek and a wonderful stone patio with a fireplace. They also have junior suites with 2 private rooms and shared bath/kitchenette for $225 per night. Includes full breakfast. They are about 6-7 miles from my house (south of Evergreen about 3-1/2 miles). Cabins start at $155 (usually require 2-night stay in summer months) and has a full kitchen and fireplace. It is on the creek. The room has a double bed; 2 pm check-in. This is 8 miles away from my house in the town of Morrison. You may find lower rates available in the cities of Lakewood (about a 30 minute drive away) and/or Golden (about 35 minute drive). I’d recommend you utilize hotel or expedia to search for bargain deals in the vicinities if you don’t mind the extra drive time. This will take you out of the foothills and into the cities down the hill.
