There are many disconnects in our legal system; this seems one of the most egregious, where a man who helped bring rapists to justice (2-year sentences) may himself receive a 10-year sentence because he hacked social media sites to get the damning info. Maybe this is not as bad as a current legislative proposal that would give rapists the right to sue their victims if that woman wished to abort a fetus resulting from the rape (please encourage your representatives to make sure this terrible idea goes no further), but the disparity of treatment is more than disheartening.
