There are many exercises you can do while sitting at your desk. Here are a few that are great for your back, neck and shoulders. It is always a good idea start gently and to breath slowly and deeply while stretching. 1. Seated in your chair, cross your right leg over your left knee. Now gently twist your torso to look over your right shoulder, holding the back of the chair. Hold for 10 seconds then repeat on the other side. 2. Standing or seated, face forward. Bending from the hips, stretch your arms out in front of you with your palms flat on the desk and head down. If you stand, you will stretch your hamstrings as well. Hold for 10 seconds. 3. Stretch your arms over your head interlinking your fingers with your palms facing upwards. Look up at your hands if you can, otherwise face forward. Hold for 10 seconds. Now get back to work!
