There are many reasons people find themselves displaced from the mainstream of society and dependent on financial support from the community. We should not judge their circumstance but we do. This election, the focus has been not on their integrity, as it often is, but on the integrity of those we elect to administer the nation. Its been a refreshing seeing the those who judge, being judged and being found wanting. If John gets reflected, (and lets face it, he is still very popular), chances are that he will be highly constrained by his coalition partner/partners, in this case probably Winston, who, behind all the bluster and rhetoric, is an old fashioned Muldoonist style socialist. MMP to the rescue ? There are probably enough disillusioned voters to make it so.
