There are many reasons why you may get hungry and feel like snacking at night. Here are a few reasons and some healthy snacking ideas. *Dehydration is one reason for late night food cravings and hunger. Before you grab something you regret later, drink a glass of water. *It could derive from boredom. Eating some apple slices or celery with peanut or almond butter is a healthy option. *You could be hungry because you had an early dinner. Have some veggies and fat free dip. *You could suffer from low salt or sugar levels. Try a cup of fat free greek yogurt and some sliced fruit. *Your body is lacking protein. Make a protein smootie or have a hard boiled egg. Of course you can try any of these snacks for any reason your are feeling hungry. Always try and drink some water or green tea first. It will help you feel full and make you eat less.
