“There are many ways you can classify pollution. It can be - TopicsExpress

“There are many ways you can classify pollution. It can be chemical, radioactive, or simply the presence of improperly disposed waste products. While some places, like Mexico City, have a very obvious problem with their heavy smog, do not be misled. The much more serene looking Lake Karachay in Russia would have you dead within an hour of sitting on its banks due to heavy radioactive contamination. So, whether the pollution is visible or not, take note because these are the 25 most polluted places on Earth.”- List 25 Can we continue to turn a blind eye to the damage that is being done to our earth and ourselves? This is one of the most sobering videos I have seen… Check out the video then see what to do about it below. La Oroya, Peru Norilsk, Russia Citarum River, Indonesia Kabwe, Zambia Riachuelo Basin, Argentina Mailuu-Suu, Kyrgyzstan Sukinda, India Baku, Azerbaijan Rondonia, Brazil Mexico City, Mexico Dhaka, Bangladesh Port-au-Prince, Haiti Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Brazzaville, Congo Earth’s Orbit Yamuna River, India Tianying, China Sumgayit, Azerbaijan Vapi, India Dzerzhinsk, Russia Lake Karachay, Russia Chernobyl, Ukraine Linfen, China North Pacific Gyre Ahvaz, Iran I dont know if it was just me, but I noticed that many of these polluted areas are surrounded by poor and struggling cities in the world. Imagine for a minute that you were trying to support your family in one of these areas. You had no little or no access to education & technology, let alone food and clean water. In order to have what I needed to survive I could see myself compromising on these important issues and allowing these chemicals and industries in my home land. Perhaps one of the core issues that we need to address with the growing pollution is the increasing poverty worldwide. I believe that once we figure out how to feed, cloth, protect and educate the world these earth damaging issues, like pollution, will take care of themselves with ease. Spreading awareness is one of the first and most important things we can do to help fix these issues! As you have clearly seen in this video, just because we don’t see or experience the pollution every day doesn’t mean that there isn’t a pollution problem in this world. If we sit and wait for the pollution to come to us then it may be too late. There is hope for this planet though. We can learn to synergize with nature by creating sustainable technologies that don’t hurt anyone or anything. We need to clean up our energy dependence with revolutionary technologies such as solar roadways. Technologies that work with nature are powerful and important strides in the direction of solving the worlds problems. Through our joined efforts developing, using, and promoting these green technologies we will reduce and eliminate the use of harmful fuels and chemicals worldwide. Why do you feel this is happening? What other core problems have you seen that cause disrespect for the earth, and our brothers and sisters all over the world? How can we work together to stop this problem at the core? Please feel free to discuss these things and more in the comments below. https://youtube/watch?v=TX2vHu_IqZ8
