Clouds have certainly made their appearance early this afternoon. Light rain is showing up on radar at 2pm, primarily in NE OK and NW AR. This activity is moving to the NE at a good clip, around 35mph. The atmosphere is rather dry at the surface so although were getting echo returns I really dont think much of this is reaching the ground, expecially here in SW MO. The lower atmosphere will moisten up with time and showers will break out later tonight. Latest check of the SPC meso maps is showing just a little bit of CAPE (energy) developing in Cntrl OK. Ill keep an eye on it!
