You dont need too much water - 12 feet deeps are enough - but you need a big river because of the debris damaging in smaller lakes when strong rain is falling. In a big river the swimming debris is floating above the Stromboje because the water levels rise with strong rain. There are only theoretical limitations for the number of Stromboje-systems in a given river. The systems delivers 400Volts/3phase - for the input in the grid you can change that - for the use in rural areas, you can use exacxtly that 400Volts - or use a FU to get the electricity you need.
