There are more times that I cant count, that I reflect where I come from... most people think Im incoherent from acknowledging the rez, because of my statute or my position of self reliance. BUT this what I tell everyone in question... I have family and friends in prison, I also have family n friends in great positions in life young and old. I people that claim gangs and I have people that are policemen and lawyers. I have people that are happy living for family and I have people living for money. But what I always keep in mind is, were native, Dine. And this mind frame of belittling one another is what divides as people. We cant pick one another up, we gotta bring em down, even if they have the most success, we still cant congratulate one another.... people ask me a lot why I aint doing this or that, I tell them if I was in law school would u treat me the same or if I ended up in prison would u treat me the same, if I was a sheep Herder would u treat me the same, 80% of them said they treat me the same, so I tell them, well why cant u treat everyone that succeeds or fails or doesnt try the same.... its not the person I am, its the person people show me and why cant we show everyone the same thing... just a random food for thought...
