There are no prerequisites for this utter shift in perception of which we speak many believe that thoughts are the culprit and they try to quiet the mind some hear thet the thinker might be the problem so they try to get rid of the thinker its the belief in separation that hurts so badly and there is nothing the imaginary self can or cannot do to have this profound shift in perception no one knows how or why it happens it is utterly uncaused And even though it is all you ever wanted.... It is nothing at all and the profound peace is untouchable.....and the awe simply blows you away it is utterly stunning beyond belief beyond imagination
