There are no words to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your loving support. Ive read every word youve all posted and my heart is glad with all the memories youve shared with us. Although Im deeply saddened by the loss of my best friend and soul mate, I rejoice that hes begun the grandest journey of all and is now walking the streets of heaven with our Lord. And now Pennie and I and our family will have to begin our own new journey without him at our side. We will always miss his sweet smile, his humor, and smart-ass comments, his strength and love. But we have beautiful memories, a large loving family, our many friends and God to sustain us as we face the coming days, weeks and months. John and I so appreciated the benefit and all your hard work and loving kindness. It was a day and night for the history books. I am still overwhelmed by your generosity. John loved you all and I do too. We will be making the arrangements today and will post them as soon as possible. Again, Thank You all!
