There are not enough words to describe the love I have in my heart - TopicsExpress

There are not enough words to describe the love I have in my heart for my cast, the orchestra, the tech crew, and box office staff of Songs for a New World! I am overwhelmed with gratitude and thanks. This show has meant so much to me and I could not be more proud. Thank you for trusting me, for all of your hard work and dedication, for your collaboration, and your love. You have created a beautiful show that is truly my best work to date. I am grateful to SueAnne Lucius for allowing me to do what I love and for believing in me and supporting me every step of the way. THANK YOU! To Cathy Hughes Hauan who has been my partner for nine shows! I cannot imagine these without you. To Heather Grant Higgins who I could not have done this show without. To Troy Buckey for creating the most beautiful lighting I have ever seen - honestly! To Aaron Dilley who listened to all my changes, my rants, and my stubbornness and created a set that is gorgeous. Thank you Sean Meshew for being a phenominal stage manager - Im sad youre leaving me, but I am so thrilled for whats next for you. To my wife, Allyson Shumway Van Patten who supported me every step of the way and came in at the last minute to help me make this show even better. To Karen Rolston and Tregoney Shepherd for their kind words, great notes, and support. To Jenica Davies Ballard, Jenn K. Crandall, Ben Jones and Tommy Acedo for being the best band EVER! And finally, my amazingly talented cast who went above and beyond, who allowed themselves to be vulnerable, who trusted my vision, created beautiful characters, and gave their heart and souls to this project. Thank you doesnt seem like enough: Jonathan Holdsworth, Taylor Hudson, Alexander Roberts, Jaziel Micheal Jones, Dave Ray, Emily Kaye, Carly Kastner, Kinsey Peotter, Laynee Overall, and Cecily Merrill Jorgensen. I love you. I thank you. I look forward to when our paths cross again. Thanks for the magic!
