There are only a few dates I can look back on & recall exactly what we were up to- April 24, 2012 happens to be one of them. Two years ago today, at about this time in the evening, I was standing on a moonlit cruise deck- hand in hand with the man who’d long before stolen my heart. My head spun a little & my chest grew tight when he turned, dropped to one knee, and asked me to marry him. I said yes. If tomorrow never comes, will she know how much I loved her? Did I try in every way to show her every day that shes my only one? And if my time on earth were through, and she must face this world without me, is the love I gave her in the past gonna be enough to last, if tomorrow never comes? The days we shared may have been short in the grand scheme of things, but in my heart theyll last forever. I am so thankful that regardless of who walks into or out of our lives, regardless of where our feet may travel & despite how long or short our days here may be, we were loved by him. We were loved by him.
