There are people from your past, where some of the memories are so bad that you learn to never think of him or her. My ex husband/ childrens father is one of those people. I have thought of him very little in the past almost two decades. He ceased to exist in my world. Every once in a blue moon something will make me think of him. Most of those times it has been this song, which was actually a very happy and pleasant memory. Riding down the road, like Bonnie and Clyde (minus the robbing), in love and singing to the radio. Windows down and wailing at the top of our lungs. This song came on and as he sang it he sang Ill never be your pizza burning. He sounded so sincere that I waited until the next chorus to see if he did it again. He did and I busted out laughing and told him the real lyrics. From then and still to this day I always sing it pizza burning instead of beast of burden.
