There are people out there who think working at your own business looks fun and easy, and if you can make a box of cake mix, you can certainly run a bakery, right??? Let me tell you, there is a lot (TONS) more to it than just taking a decorating class and making a Facebook page. It takes a lot of hands on experience and knowing an industry before you can just jump-in. You can start it, but will it last? Oh, and no matter what, GET LICENSED. I had in my head this dream of owning a cake business, which I then turned into a reality. It took me YEARS AND YEARS to do that though.
